Bert currently plays with his groups, the Bert Jackson Quartet, and the Wicked Trio. The BJQ released their first album, Imaginary Journey, in 2013. The band plays concert and club venues throughout Cape Cod, as well as special and private events. The repertoire consists of the bands’ favorite jazz, blues and world standards and original compositions. The Wicked Trio is reminiscent of the power trios of the 1960s, playing blues, jazz, some British invasion and some more eclectic compositions by the band members.
